Where We Fish
We fish the waters of Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound. With many years of experience on these waters we are becoming very familiar with them. Whether it is fluke fishing or trolling for stripers, we have a good idea of where and when to find them. As summer approaches we start to focus on the near offshore grounds for tuna and shark. We can be found at the Dump, the Horns, the Mudhole, or other similar spots depending on where the fish are. Late in the season we return to Montauk and Block Island for the fall run of stripers, blues, and false albacore. We continue to try new locations in our pursuit of the many fish that swim in these waters.
The Boat
Our boat is a Triton 2286 center console. The LOA is 22'8" with a beam of 8'6". It is powered by a fuel efficient Yamaha 250 hp. 4-stroke. Full electronics include 2 GPS chart plotters, radar, Furuno fish finder, temp. gauge, VHF radio, and flo-scan fuel management. We are equip with all required safety gear as well as an EPIRB. The deep "V" design of the hull provides for a dry and comfortable ride. For pleasure and convenience we have a cd-fm radio with multiple speakers and an enclosed head for when nature calls. The boat has met our fishing and cruising needs both in economy and comfort. Boat Picture
